Pleasure leads to poverty

We’ve all seen it take place.

The more you wish, the more you desire, the more you want, the more you lose; this equation has been true since humans have been alive.

The cycle of perceptual pleasure chasing gives us the illusion of accomplishing something that we know, deep down, can only be solved through working.

Running away from the actual work which needs to be done received a pompous name: procrastination.

If you take a closer look, the powers that be have started to label every single action and every single thought as some sort of philosophy or behavior that we can, either think ourselves out of or medicate for life.

All of our modern problems and mental sufferings could be quickly healed or avoided if we were to strictly follow our conscience and our mind, the things we take the most pride in.

Lack of action breeds anxiety.

Lack of action feeds depression.

Lack of action creates despair.

When we don’t take the leap of faith and try to change, we are passing on our pain to everyone around us.

Instead, we could be the source of validation for those who are in need and not be the ones who are just simply tolerated, the ones who are running to vices.

The only secret to motivation is avoiding instant gratification.
